Sitting in cancun.what should I try

Sitting in Riviera Maya as we speak.
Never been a tequila lover.
But now is the chance to try different stuff.
What would you all suggest.
To me it always smells like tails.
Any suggestions would be great.

I was there when I was a young and it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. More beautiful than the Florida Keys and Bahamas. We all got the squirts by just brushing our teeth with tap water once though. Stick with bottled water. Sorry, I don't know much about Mexican liquors.

If you don't like tequila this won't help much. But my personal favorite is

brown bottle mezcal with the worm, no lime no salt. sipping.

If you can find it, I think cascahuin blanco tahona style is an amazing sipper.

I was down there last year. Had a bit too much Don Julio, dove into a pool and hit the swim up bar head-first. 10 stitches to the top of the head, a concussion, and 4 broken vertebrae later… I don’t touch the stuff anymore.

Drink whatever you want, but I would not recommend the hospitals…
