What does it say about me that I saw a bag of sugar on the coffee counter at work, and the first thing that went through my head was “Crap, who left that there? Don’t they know better than to just leave that stuff sitting out where anyone can see it?"

I almost missed our cut off on road trip. It was called "cranberry drive". My wife was like wtf we just discussed and said it was the next road. What the hell you thinking about. To be honest I said I was wondering if there was someway I could use or convert cranberries to make booze? That's the way I look at everything now. How much sugars it got, how much starch, can I convert it somehow? Once bitten I think most see the world different now. Not complaining ( although my wife is worried about me) I love my new hobbyeveryone.

I do the same thing, Bradster! Every time I see fruit on sale, I wonder if it’s worth making another batch of brandy, what it would taste like, etc. Even the breakfast cereal isle has a whole new meaning now.

I have given up eating sugar and carbs but strangely I buy more grain and sugar now than ever before.
