This photo popped up as a memory on FB. 10 years ago I helped Mash Rookie cook ten turkeys in his glassblowing ovens to serve the homeless in Seattle. That year Seattle experienced a lot of flooding and it was a tough time for some.

That’s awesome! Never thought a glass blowing oven could be used to cook a large quantity of Turkey.

Homeless here in Edmonton are having tough days. Winter and now an infectious diarrhea going through the tent camps

. WTF when they are in a tent with no wash facilities.

Wow this is pretty cool Bushman I just stumbled across this post and remember very clearly when you guys did those turkeys. Time does fly.

Yep. I'm sure the homeless were very happy to have all that good food served to them. What a great gesture and selfless act. We need more of this in the world.
