Hi guys I'm not new to distillation and fermenting but I'm new in the distillations with column i recently bought a 26 gallon 4 inch 6 section column , I've run it couple of times i could reach to 93.3 to 94 I'm looking for flavorless and tasteless vodka but i could not reach to my goal , i made my mash with wheat the potential alcohol was 8 percent triple distillate with all 6 bubble plate separate head , heart and tail
10 times active charcoal filtration and still has some sweetness wheat smell and flavor
What did i wrong ?
any help is appreciated
I have 3 question
1:I only can reach 93.3 precent alcohol is it necessary to reach 96 percent to make flavorless vodka or not ?
2 : if i run my 6 plate column 3 times its equal to commercial 20 plate equipment in terms of alcohol pureness or not ?
3: do i need to pack 3 of my chambers with copper scrubber to make hybrid setup in order to make higher abv for more pure product or its not needed ?
