New sign up to homedistiller.org, long time reader, first time poster.

Years of home brew behind me for wines, beers and mead, I needed a new hobby and so branching out into home distilling and to add spirits to my repertoire. Primarily a gin drinker, Monkey 47 through to a good Old Tom, I am now at the point of having read volumes, followed discussions, watched all the interesting from fundamentals through to flavor profiles, obsessed over the smallest of details, rabbit holes here, there and everywhere and to a point of let us begin.

Grimlock, a homage to my favorite oldest Transformer, a late 40's good for nothing who has found great satisfaction in making some tangible, that you can see, hold, share and in this case, drink.
