What's this on my mash?
Did the tried and true wheated half barrel and it's been sitting for about a week now to finish. When I pulled the top off (had an airlock it had these yellow oily looking circles on top. Just curious if anyone knows what they are exactly. I'm assume it's some wild yeast? I used safeale us5.
