Hello from the land of Illusion

Hi,

I live in the oh so wonderful state of Illinois. I have been distilling since I was about 10 with my grandpa who had a 25ish gallon copper pot still with a wood box thumper and worm. I bought (hangs head) a Vevor 13 gallon still. I quickly found it to have a grossly undersized thumper and worm. I have since moved on to using a 65L Brewzilla 3.1.1 with the 6 gallon extension, a dome lid and a liepig condensor. I will likely build a second head for it and a properly size thumper and worm as I really enjoy, and make, a good bourbon. I've been here for a couple months just reading all the stuff I can and gaining some of the knowledge lost with the death of my grandpa. Hope to help out where I can.
