Warning levels

Post by Tōtōchtin »

What rewards and gifts come with a level 2 warning? I did a search and nothing came up.

In rules it just says for you will be banned for breaking them .Depending on offence we decided to go up to 3 strike your out. In most cases matter is decided by mods behind closed doors

Is there a time limit on strikes...as in, if I behave myself for, lets say five years, can I ask to have a strike against me removed? Or is the rule "don't drink and type" steadfast ?
A mod on one of the "ghoul gun building sites" said that they don't track IP addresses and you could re-register under a new name if you got a "kicker", you just lose any standing you had on the site under the old name. Would that be the same on our HD forums site ?

I’m not sure what I did to get banned here one time. Never got a warning. Never got a reply when I came back and asked what the reason was. Oh well. Nice part about being banned is you can still read the forum and I continued to learn.

There are several rules that are pretty universal and a few specific to this forum. None are a big deal.

It’s important to not take offence on a site that involves alcohol and drinking. Be kind. Be supportive of other members. New members will be enthusiastic and go off on a tangent occasionally. I know I did.

Being a moderator here would be a tough job. Hats off to the guys / gals who have done it past or present.

If you got a warning here take a step back and think about things a bit. Own what you did or said.

Anywho I’m drinking and posting….

I'd be fucked if the "don't drink and type" part was a rule.

My 2 cents worth.
Over the years, the mods have taken a "moderate" balanced approach.
Kinda like herding thousands of drunken cats, while trying to limit the scratching and spitting.
All the while working to make home-distillation safe and legal.

Even an old timer that contributes, can't be an ass too often or will get spanked and/or band.
Folks that have nothing of value to share and just want to be disruptive don't last long.

From my point of view that pretty much covers it, anyone who has spent more that a few years here has seen it time and time again.
Act as a reasonable person would and its all  .......be an arse and it all goes down hill pretty fast.

Hey Tater, nothing for nothing, but that's a pretty "letter of the law" response for a site where most of the members are discussing breaking the law.

Don't know what D4d did before but every post I've seen of his was on the up-and-up.

(and now we find out his old handle was "Hitler had some good ideas")
