Hi everyone.
Completely new to distilling.
Years ago I made various types of beer/ale with various levels of success.
I work as a professional bar tender. I experiment with lots of various cocktails which as you can imagine costs a small fortune in base spirits.
I came across an advert for an AirStill and thought that sounds like a simple solution to my spirit needs. I live in a 2 bed apartment so I don't have much available space.
The advantage of the airstill is the small space it takes up, but that advantage is pointless if I can't make usable neutral spirit with it.
If I'm understanding things correctly neutral is what I need for gins & vodka. For the short term I don't imagine experimenting with whiskeys/bourbons but who knows if the bug bites
