Hi all,
My first post and just a hi and thanks for having me.
Recently purchased a T500 kit after spending dozens of hours reading articles and watching YouTube clips. I know that many will shake their heads and mutter, "not another one", but this is just a first step with many more possible steps likely down the years ahead.
Years ago my friends and I brewed beer, we did this for many years and actually got quite good at it towards the end. However with our lives getting busier and with commitments with children etc we all finally stopped.
I guess I'll brew beer again soon, but first I want to have a crack at distilling a neutral through my T500.
Thanks again to all who have posted on this forum, I've learned a lot from many knowledgeable members!
Cheers,
Smithy.

Welcome aboard JimS
I'll shake my head without the muttering and just say " believe a very small proportion of what you see on Youtube, there is far more bad advice there than good".
What you get there is often the opinion of one person who has litte real experience.
Here you get the combined knowledge and experience from distillers who in many cases have years of experience.
Youtube has no Bullshit filter, where as on a forum BS gets called out pronto.
Youtubers are almost always in it for the money, no one here gets paid for the advice they give you.

Welcome to the forum Smithy.
You'll quickly realise that you've now landed in the right place to learn how to feed and run that still you have.
Enjoy the ride!
