Well I finally got everything together and made them happen. Wow what an adventure this has been. I used the Shady’s Sugar Shine Recipe to start with and believe it or not it came out great. After it was all said and done I ended up with 6.5 gal of really smooth hooch. I have 1.7 gal in the Bad Motivator Barrel my wife purchased for my Birthday last month, 4 gal in a Glass Carboy and the rest is sipping smooth stuff. I learned that water temp management is challenging when you are doing this outside in 90 degrees, but lesson learned. I think I will jump head first into a grain run next.
I want to thank this community for the help I have gotten so far.
Cheers

Congrats!! Isn't it awesome sipping something you made and enjoying it! All the hard work paid off.
The whole 90* thing is another reason I take the summer off!!
