Sight glass on kegs

Post by Tammuz »

I have a 3-in sight glass on my boiler and on one of my thumpers. Somehow I've ended up with an extra two inch sight glass. Debating with myself on putting it on the steam generator or the first thumper. I don't feel I need it on either one,but since I bought it already. I have never fired up the steam generator. I don't know if anything would be visible in it.

I'd roll without using it for a while. One day, with more experience with your setup, you might better know where you might want to install one.

My first thought ... it could be cool to see activity inside the thumper. I don't know if I'd get as much satisfaction seeing water boil inside of a steam generator.
