In the woods

Post by Still in the Woods »

Good day all
I'm a maple syrup producer from Ontario who also has a love for whisky. About a year ago I decided to try distilling some products using maple syrup instead of sugar in the mash, and they didn't turn out terrible! I have learned a ton as a lurker on this forum and decided to join so I could ask questions and maybe someday contribute after I've learned more.
I also have an interest in growing heritage grains which I would also like to use in my recipes.

Thanks! I'm technically GTA as well. Just at the extreme west end.

I agree. I had never tried it before I made it, and it was pretty good. Then my brother brought me a bottle from Quebec and I actually liked mine better.

Welcome from Ab. Maple sounds tasty but way to pricy for my budget.
Cheers
