Hi everyone,
New to this site and fairly new to distilling.
I have a T500 still set up and am currently using the basic turbo sugar box sets. However the plan is to move away from the turbo yeast.
My interest is in making Gin.
Have only done a handful of runs so far, so have not had much trial and error to figure out what works well.
My hope is to move away from the Turbo kit sets and to be able to produce a gin that I’d happily share with friends and family.
Currently doing my own botanical mixes and again, slowly doing some trial and error, but there is much to go to find my blend.
I’ve had a brief read on the forums here and have seen some really useful information. Will need to go through it all to see what I want to implement into my next set of batches.
Have had some novice “success” with the batches that I have produced, mostly through learning my father’s mistakes on his own still set up. And have been able to produce some very drinkable Gins so far.
Looking forward to making some improvements and getting better with each distillation.

Welcome to the club
. The tried and true has a few great neutral recipes. Smart move ditching the turbo. Just follow the recipe(tried and true)exactly and you'll have
Great success.
