New to me Boiler

In our view 30 gallons and under is considered hobby size. Do not bring anything larger than this to our site.

New to me Boiler

Post by Sailman »

I can't believe this. I picked up a used keg and after getting home I noticed the bottom drain was loose. The silicone had started to come off ! Some people have no clue and if that wasn't bad enough it looks like galvanized was used as well. What a good way to change this out? I was thinking of with a SS weld spud soldered in place. Also any ideas on how to add some legs?

Yeah that's definitely galvanized and needs replaced.

Here's a topic that covers a bottom drain as well as adding swivel caster to the base of the keg.

When I do bottom drains on kegs, I use 1". I tried 3/4" in the past, but it was smaller and slower than I prefer.
