my last rum was a bit overpowering for me.... half of it is going back in with what i'm running now...two strip run's of pugi rum, fallowed by a spirit run of both...if i just open my boiler and pour these low wines back in and run em'in 100% dunder will my rum be super heavy again....??...
i can cut this dunder half with water or use all water... any thoughts would be helpfull and appreciated....gonna take a little break when this second strip run finishes than fire em' back up in a couple hours...

I've learned that rum can be difficult to get the cuts right on the tails. I tend to screw up my cuts when doing them as I do whiskey. Rerun it with water and make conservative cuts but wait til after a few days of airing and then make careful cuts. Then try it and see how you like it. I don't like it heavy I know that. I've also learned that young rum is extremely surprising in flavor and needs aging.

I have zero experience with rum yet but, I air my neutral for over a week prior to bottling.
