Hi all!
Been lurking for a few years now and finally pulled the trigger on starting my adventure. I come from a beer brewing background but stopped almost a decade ago. The right series of circumstances enabled me to jump into this world!
I have always been a tinkerer and this let's me scratch that itch in a more spirited way.

I soldered on a 2" ferrule onto a 15 gal keg and purchased 3500W element. And am working through my first real batch after my vinegar and sacrificial run.

Im working on a hybrid approach to UJSSM right now. I cooked some cracked corn, and then as it cooled threw in some 2 row and rye. I got full conversion based on iodine test adjusted to my target SG with sugar. Did the first strip the other day, and planning another one tomorrow.
