Greetings from yet another Kiwi

Post by Cheetor »

Hi Everyone

It said I should post here first. so here we go.

I'm an automation engineer from here in NZ. Not at all new to distilling. On and off for almost 20 years now.
But I am new to trying to make really great high quality product. Branching out from, I belive it's called turdbo here. To
making things like whiskeys, rums, botanical based spirits and fruit based flavors..

Over the years I've used a few stills, Essencia, the classic T500. Due to downsizing I'm now just equipped with an Airstill and an Airstill Pro.
I do have my eyes on moving up to a more modular tri-clamp setup once I somehow manage to make space in my garage.

I've spent a lot of time reading this forum, 2 years I'd guess now. I have definitely read a lot and learned a lot. Only now do I think I've learned just enough to warrant actually making an account to post here and contribute.

I'm looking to learn more especially about making good cuts, no matter how much I've read and tried and read I don't seem to have quite picked up the skill yet. Especially with spirits outside the turdbo crap I used to make.

So Big Hi to everyone. Happy to be here.
