Glad to Join, Learn and Converse

Post by rockedge »

Hello all!

I am the main site administrator for the Puppy Linux Discussion Forum and stumbled upon this forum which is also using phpBB.

Having a deep interest in distilling and the science and art and craft that goes into it, I am now looking at a treasure drove of information on the subject! I am at a hobby level.

I have friends and neighbors that have home built stills with some being practically works of art. Some of these guys produce some really good stuff. Usually infused with some flavor or another. Having lots of apples around much of what we see around where I live is similar to Obstler the traditional clear fruit brandy distilled from apple mash and fermented apple cider and pears.

Glad to be here!

Welcome aboard, rockedge. Apple season is in big fore right now, check out Cranky's apple brandy thread or Paulinka's Pálinka thread. Lots of wisdom there. Have fun and be safe!
