Retired civil engineer, originally from the UK but for the last 20 years happily residing in New Zealand. Married with three grown up children and seven grandchildren. Currently living on a rural 16 acre lifestyle block where amongst other things we grow olives for pressing into oil. Enjoy wood turning and generally making anything from wood. Purchased a 10 litre Alembic Copper Still early in 2019 and started on a path of discovery called distilling and all that goes with it. Done a fair bit of reading once I found this site but still very much the novice with lots still to read and learn!
