Want to distill for fuel primarily, secondarily, to have ethanol for barter and maybe personal consumption, should the liquor stores ever close due to national disaster,..Of course, Being a Texan, (for perspective) I understand that U.S. and State permits will be required.

I majored in chemistry and biology during my college years. Worked as a chem tech for a DOD contracted not for profit company and lived.

I would like to learn as much as possible about the distillation of ethanol spirits and how to properly conduct the activity safely and properly.
