Condenser coil

Coil, usually made of copper tubing, through which cool water is pumped. This coil resides in the top of a condenser in a column still. The cool water in the coil condenses the vapors which rise through the column, creating a reflux action which increases the proof of the vapors before they exit the still and enter the worm.
