Distillation from my new reflux still using propane
I started out with my new 2" reflux tower and 5 gallons of mash. It took around 30 minutes to heat up before the foreshots were coming out, about a minute after it started flowing their was a large amount of liquid and steam/smoke coming out, I cut down the heat thinking that is what it was but...

Just made a corn mash
Just got done pitching the yeast for a corn mash with some sugar, 3.5 # sugar and 8.5# cracked corn. Using bakers yeast. Hopefuly this will come out! Also in the mail my new still came in from MileHigh. I got the 2" 8 Gallon Milk Can distiller. http://www.milehidistilling.com/premium-8-gallon-m...

I'm in Georgia. Yeah i'm not quite sure I understand all the technical things about the heating element. I've been reading things on it and haven't quite got a grasp on everything. I would go with the 5500.

Keg with heating element set up with PID
I was wondering how much / if anyone would sell a set up keg ready to go for , PM me if so. I just got a 2" reflux tower and milk can boiler but I dont want to do anything to my brand new boiler.

Seagram's 7 Crown is quite terse, consisting of corn, rye, rye malt, barley malt, yeast, and water. Seagram's 7 Crown are aged for a minimum of 4 years, some in new charred white oak barrels and some in used charred white oak barrels. Normally aged for 7 years hint the name Seagrams "7"

That would just go under the still ? I have never seen these kind of heaters. They are electrical also?
