If anyone has an interest in cooking, this forum might be of interest. It's still pretty new and small, which is nice, I get lost on the bigger cooking forums. You might see one or two familar faces http://foodsoftheworld.activeboards.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

You caught me, I don't really follow or write recipes very well, especially for baking . I kinda just throw stuff in there... That was more of a tips post if I remember correctly, things to add to any recipe.
Spent a bit of time on it and as you say it's small but easy to navigate Coincidence, I have this book, which is quite old. One of those Sally Ann buys. Also have the French one from the same series.
My day to day cooking is pretty boring, mostly vegies and pulses, maybe a bit of meat.
But when a roast lamb and vegies needs doing, I'm your man. Pretty good at them. Get invited to people's houses to do it. They supply the materials, I put them together. And supply some nice after dinner booze.

What's boring about that? We eat like that all the time. Only eat flesh when there's no alternative.
Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon) The Reading Lounge AND the Rules We Live By should be compulsory reading
I'm a pretty good cook when I want to be ,at least others say so (It mite be just different or they do not have to cook it),being by myself I either eat the same for a month or as most times give it away.
just made 6 loaves of bread 3 rye and 3 ,wheat/rye/barley, the grain I used was from a farm store.just ran it threw a roller mill several times.the trick to doing this is to toast the grain a bit so it is "crispy"
