We have been adding a few new forums recently. If you 'think' that you should be able to post to them, but can not, just drop a note. It is likely we have not properly set permissions on them.
The current site 'reading lounge' IS a read only forum. The 'Q/A with Mentors' has some special posting rules in it, which unfortunately are not something we can setup within phpbb, so they have to be honored by users, and addressed by moderators.
Other than the above 2 forums, I believe that registered users have pretty much full normal access to all other normal forums.
