welcome to HD lewisclan -- You not the first one to show up with little more than desire. It's all here. From learning how to solder clean up to building multi-plated columns -- If ya got it in ya you can get it done.

Tell us a little more bout what you're interested in? Do you currently enjoy spirits? Clear or aged/flavored? There's folks got here that didn't even drink liquor. There's folks here that make it and don't drink. A very multi-faceted hobby with liquor being one of the many joys of this hobby.

good luck

Welcome to the forum, we are growing faster than I can believe. We also like pictures of your build, your fermenting process, etc.

I do drink and I like it aged, I am kinda of a beer drinker during the day and like to drink good whiskey during the evenings on the weekends. when I was about 18-19 I built a unit that just distilled the alcohol out of wine using a pressure cooker & copper tubing. I really have not even thought about getting into stuff like this until a friend said that he was working a still and was having good luck with it, well this last weekend he brought me some for a taste test, I was really impressed and here I am.
Thats about all I know which isn't much but I want to learn
