Moving!

Post by stillenand chillen »

Hi Guys.

We have decided to go underground...into the basement.

We are having so much fun we thought we should build a home brewing room. As the days and weeks go on we will post our progress in remodeling a room in the basement.

Thank you all for sharing your knowledge with us. Soon we hope to be able to return the favor.

I sometimes daydream about the perfect mashin/fermentin/distillin room. I always see lots and lots of stainless steel, long tables, deep sinks, conical fermenters, BOPs. And copper, big copper pots.

As my Ma always said, "If you're gonna dream, dream big!"

Hi guys. Yes we plan to enclose a room. This room has been roughed in for a bathroom. Plan to put a vanity, sink, toilet and a shower soon to come. i will also install utility tub, upper and lower cabinets with stainless steel countertop. The still will go in the center back nookj in the room (if you can see it in the pic). Surrounded by stainless and ceramic tile. Hopefully I can get the plumbing and electrical roughed in this weekend and hang some drywall. Pics soon to come.:)

That sure is a nice looking still you have there my friend. :D :D I love the way you have your room set up..
I want a hospital table like you have there. That is great for setting collecting jars for your still. Do you have any idea where a man might get one of those? I am afraid they would see me trying to sneak out of the hospital with it
Great job on your new room I love it.
