I love bourbon and beer. I plan on doing a little distilling yes. A friend of mine's grandfather is a bit of a local legend. We're gonna try out the family receipe.

The "lowcountry" is the areas in SC and GA that are below sea level. I live in the Charleston, SC area.

Sorry I have been off the computer a few days but welcome to the forum. +1 on any recipes you want to share. I am from the opposite side of the US but I love the cooking in SC, we make a low boil in the summer that I picked up on my last trip and love the country way it is served!

thanks skunkape im from the other end of SC so i know what the lowcountry is i was just curious as to your general where abouts. I love charleston, visit there frequently. even lived there for a year in my younger days.
