Sweet feed recipe questions

Post by almost_responsible7 »

I have a few questions about this recipe for a 5 gallon wash:

4" of sweet feed in bottom of bucket
8lbs of sugar
Superstart distillers yeast
Yeast Nutrients

Questions:
I recently bought this superstart yeast, how much should i use for this recipe?

what abv could i expect in my wash when its done fermenting?

can i use more sugar to produce higher alcohol content in my wash?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, i am sort of new to this

I skylit add more sugar when I did the sweet feed that stuff worked super quick. Also I used the ground up kind when it was all done he grains swelled up at took half the water. So say a 5 gallon bucket will only have 2 gallon of mash to distill.
