site downtime

Post by Uncle Jesse »

It wasn't my fault!

Honest. Really it wasn't.

For those of you familiar with unix, the machine rebooted for some reason and was sitting in single user mode waiting for fsck.

Took me a while to be able to log in because the hosting company had a kernel panic on the serial console which prevented me from logging in.

It's not all fun and games at times behind the scenes. But not to fear, I'll always do my best to get the site back up and running as soon as possible.

Thanks UJ

I got to confess though -- When I can't log in and after about the third attempt I ask myself, 'well is this the one? Am I ready to go it alone? Then think, 'I sure hope it comes up when I try back again later'. Whew

I sympathize, I really do. I can't say how much without giving away too many details
