cheesehead hello
Hey all, I have been trolling around on here ever since a friend of mine built a 2" cooling managment still. I am a home brewer and also am a big design/diy guy. I have recently been building a brew in a bag rig for a fellow homebrewer (also uses this site), and part of the payment can be 5' of 3" type L. I am thinking of making a 3" vapor managment still and I figure if I am to start asking questions, and doing a build I might as well say hey!
Hopefully in the next couple weeks I will have a build thread going on here!
Thanks in advance for the welcome and pointers that you have all given to me without knowing!

Welcome to HD. "Cheesehead" is reserved in Holland to the people living in the city of Gouda. You not from there, I guess.

Wisc. has long been known as the "Dairy State" and as such, they've adopted the name "cheeseheads" When you see the Packers play, especially at Green Bay, you will see untold numbers of fans wearing their "Cheesehats", which look like a wedge of bright yellow cheese upon their heads.

Re: cheesehead hello
Thanks. Sometimes I wonder if I learn about distilling here than I do about other cultures.
Anyway, both are interesting.

Re: cheesehead hello
Part of the reason I loved this site was because of the cultural aspet in everyone's posts. Odin, I will admit it is the packers which everyone is referring to. I also have to admit a fondness towards good cheese so it works in that aspect as well!
Thanks all for the warm greetings and don't worry, there will be lots of pics of future work. Though I have discovered the build process is not easy on the wallet lol. Anyone know where to get cheap 4" pipe?

Come to Holland, Cheesehead. I will not only have you taste geneva that will blow your hat off. The farmer made cheese over here (and I mean like in the 10 kilometer area around where I live) are increadible.
Now you wear that hat proudly, my friend!
And do some distillings.

Odin, you make a tempting offer.
Scubadawg, I have been your way several times... mostly 4-wheeling.
Thanks all for welcoming me in, I can't wait to start my own builds.
