PID POT

Post by onthekeg »

Does anyone use a kettle like this? I have a PID kettle that I use for both the HLT and boil kettle, and am thinking it would be nice to set it up as a still pot. Maybe I missed the thread, but can you set it to 175 deg and let it go for awhile then raise the temp? I potstill and was thinking if it worked, I would retrofit the still to the kettle, if not, then I can rig up a pwm or something for the still alone.

Thanks MK, I was thinking that it wouldn't work too well.
