Using Bicycle Tire Inner Tube to Seal Pipe

I currently have a 2 inch copper tower and was told I could just use a piece of old bicycle inner tube to seal my tower with my lyne arm. I know flour paste is sort of the standard but this is so much cleaner and I just need to know if its safe.

the tube is made of rubber so no not recommended as it could leach chemicals

H Samohans gasket aint instant, it does take a few mins to make, but it is basically 'tried n true' for a lot of people here, flour paste works good too, yer dealin wi hi alcohol levels and most things break down wi that. so please take it easy and do some readin here on the site, the rewards for readin are 'amazin'

not safe at all, liquor probably taste like an old tire tube as well.....could run it in your lawn mower....
