Different kinds of suger.

I know this has has been ask before but i cant find. It. Is all suger equal when using it for distilling. White vs cane suger vs granulated? Is it all the same. There was a sale in the paper today at two places and the one bad said granulated suger and the other said pure cane suger? I know this is prob a stupid question but i dont want to go buy 25 lb of suger and it not do as great as a other type of suger . Thanks

Same but not always. the sugar i have ben useing is from beets from idaho, I don't know if it makes a difference in taste or quality. It has ben brought up in different posts over the years. I have not made a direct comparison. I just looked and my sugar says granulated. The package also says " naturally sweet from western farms" . So i can say not all sugar is equal.

Alright ill prolly just go for the granulated. price check on the suger. Its on sale comes out to around 16 bucks for 30 lb. Is that a pretty good price?

I can get 10 lbs bags at sams for $4.79 each. I can get 4 lbs bags at the grocery store for less. But I'm starting to get lazy. And they don't look at you funny at Sams.

Yeah once the fiance gets her sams card in the mail i am going to try to go up there and see what kind of deals they have. i figured that it would be cheaper there. Im getting married jun 8. Would it be bad of me to put sweetfeed and suger on the registry for gifts. lol
