Rinse with clean water after each run, then allow to dry before storing away in a dry location to avoid any mold or mildew. No need to clean after each run other than above.

Do a vinegar cleaning run maybe once every 15 runs through the still.

Plus one. But I mite clean mine with a vinagar run every year or two. Usually only after mods or reworking it.

Now if you had the still puke on you. That's a different story. At that point you may need to do some good cleaning.

And the still will be sterilized every time you run the still. First from heat. Then from the fores coming through it. That you are going to toss out anyway.

If ya never shut it down you never have to clean it . I just rinse mine with water and then do a steam run before the next likker run . That serves to set my flour paste , do initial leak check , and steam out any nasties that may have taken root while it was inactive .
If you ain't the lead dog in the team , the scenery never changes . Ga Flatwoods made my avatar and I want to thank him for that .
Don't drink water , fish fornicate in it .
