safe containers for 190+ alcohol

Post by boble60 »

im going to a music festival soon and would like to bring some of my 190+ proof alcohol in but security will throw out any glass you try to bring in. so my question is, is there any containers other then glass that i would contain the alcohol safely?

Boble60 this is basically a repost and frowned upon. Why must you transport 190 proof? You cant possibly drink it that high.

you can, you just have to adjust the ratios of mix to likker, and sip it slower. I suggest also adding ice as you drink it ... but I dunno if that is an option at a festival

Go to any liquor store and buy yourself one of those pocket whiskey bottles. They are made of metal. If you think they are too small... buy two. If you still think they are too small, remember, you don't need to have a gallon of 190 proof.

so is stainless steel my only option? its not a bad one im just woundering
Stainless or glass are the only two materials I would recommend. Unless you find a copper, Or silver flask?

You said glass is out. So that leaves stainless.

No mater how many times you ask. This will be the basic answer you get.
