Hi All,
I'm looking for resources, or rules of thumb, on the ratio of spices to alcohol for tinctures. Marianski & Marianski do give amounts for a limited amount (5) of spices: 10 grams per 90 ml of alcohol, 50%. Macerating for about 3 weeks. Elsewhere in the same book however they advice a different, and rather wide ratio of 1 kg of spices to 3-10 kg of alcohol. Do you know of more extended resources?
Thanks!
