Folks,
I had to back out my upgrades because something went wrong.
This is bad news because I had to revert the forums almost a day. So sorry! Understand that upgrading the backend database of a web site which has around 25 years of data is not simple.
It's also good news since I know what went wrong. Tomorrow I will research how to fix that problem and I will try again, probably Saturday.
Thanks for being patient and understanding here. This stuff is not trivial.
Well, damn!

Thank for that UJ, it's good at least to know that you are on the job and doing what you can.
Whole thing is way above what I know about and sounds like a royal pain in the butt to fix.

All good man, it's frustrating at times but, the site is worth the frustration.
I had asked about a fundraiser of sorts s while back, I didn't realize that we had a donation tab till last week, I donated and the site messed up again, with new messages, lol, just figured my luck was at play again

No apologizes necessary, thank you for all you do to keep HD up and running, Uncle Jesse! It's a lot of work to run and maintain a forum, I've done it. I really appreciate all the time you put in to Home Distiller to provide us with the resource.Uncle Jesse wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 7:47 pm Folks,

Please, don't ever apologise for anything in relation to this forum.
We all benefit from this resource free of charge unless we choose to donate, so there's never anything to thank us for or say sorry for.
Please let us know when the final fix is in place, and I believe a fresh round of donations will be in order.
Thank YOU for all you do.
