Upgrades again

Post by Uncle Jesse »

OK, the backend database has been upgraded successfully!

Report any problems with the system please. I don't want to proceed with more changes until we are sure things work properly.

On the first pass, performance seems much improved. Thanks !

so sorry about that man. I had to block HUGE numbers of IP addresses when we were getting hammered by attacks.

I hope to get some third party software going which will be far more selective with the ban hammer. First things first.

Tried using both a Samsung phone and Samsung Tablet, both failed to load, same HTTP ERROR.
Could it be just Android devices doing this?

Just been playing and my Iphone had the same issues .
If I resize the pic to under 40kB ( around 250x300px) it will accept .

Hmmm , seems the same problem on my Laptop
only accepts files under about 40kB

Incidentally , it says file size must be under 6Mb when you add it , but doesn't seem to matter

I’ll have to google this one. I upped the max size to 8mb in php but something else is interfering. I only upgraded the back end DB software, MySQL

I was going to post about the same error.

It looks as though PossumPie was able to post a picture on May 18 though...

I still get an error when trying to post a pic, but a youtube video uploads just fine.
Don't know if this may be a clue to whats wrong.
Maybe the site security doesn't like anything that's not vetted.
