Mile hi distilling
Alright so I want the 8 gallon milk can pot still not the 2 in 1. Do I have to put anything in the column or do I just put in the mash and fire it up? Also does it give the alcohol a oily taste?

Stop by the welcome center and properly introduce yourself. Tell us a little about what brought you here, what (if any) previous experiences in alcohol production you may have and finally what would you like to make. The questions you have asked here have shed light on how much you don't know. We need to know more about your intentions to better help.
good luck

You did introduce yourself somewhat. Let's do a do-over and start from the beginning 'cause from the way this is starting out, you aint gonna git a whole lot of support at this rate.Moonshine420 wrote:Hey im new to this and I have 2 important questions
1. Whats a easy and cheap still I can make to produce 190 alcohol?
2. If methanol boils at a cooler temp then ethanol, then when the mash hits a certain temp, does that mean all the methanol is gone?
