hi everyone, being new to this i am unsure what type of still to build thinking of a vapour management still maybe?
i have got a 50lt keg boiler with 2200 watt element and tri clover fitting on top.
now where is the best place to get tri clover fittings and how do you work out the sizes?
for copper stills is a copper tri clover fitting available or does the copper have to be soldered to a stainless tri colver fitting?
any help or comments appreciated.
cheers mav

Hello Mav and welcome to HD
As rad pointed out in your first post a proper introduction would be nice. Tell us what type of spirits you enjoy/what type do you intend to make. Do you like liquors that have been aged and carry that complex flavor profile (and) or do you prefer the clear neutrals that mix well with so many options out there?rad14701 wrote:Please stop by the Welcome Center and give the membership a proper introduction...

Mav, welcome to this hobby and this great site. It's hard getting started I know. We all started somewhere, and all the answers are here somewhere.
I encourage you to search the parent site to find as many if the answers as possible on theory then search the forums for the equipment. Most questions of the noobie type have been answered before.
That being said, I get my triclamps from St.pats. Others use klg stainless as well as gvc I believe.
Enjoy, stay safe and search.
