so, I tried pitching some distillers yeast. It proofs in water, but doesn't seem to like the sponge. Bakers yeast would have been blowing up by now, but this is not doing much at all...
So, I threw some red star premier cuvee on it... we'll see.
Any one ever bake with wine or distillers yeast?
the grocery is 28 miles away...
