Sloe gin, cold crashing

Post by winelegs »

Gin has been passed with most particles filtered out. To improve clarity I'm planning on cold crashing to allow any final sediment to settle. Would I be better doing this before adding sugar for sweetness or after.

Kind regards and Happy New Year

I would think before adding sugar as imperfections will attach to the sugar and stay in suspension
