History Channel: Rumruners, Moonshiners, and Bootleggers

Post by ZombieFoot »

They state that the modern distiller is a greedy individual only after money...I say nay, I would never profit from anything I make.
its about the art of it for me. Finding what makes something taste good,
and how I can wrangle quite literally the essence of nature into something truly spectacular.

I am ashamed of you history channel

I've seen that episode at least 8 times and I don't recall that statement being made in that exact context... They do, however, refer to the fact that many of those who are moonshining for profit are out to get as much profit as possible from their efforts during conversations about flies in the mash and other derogatory comments... They surely aren't talking about those of us who consider ourselves to be artisan distillers...

We get waves of new registrations every time those moonshine related episodes air...
