distilling using a Water Distiller?

Putting older posts here. Going to try to keep the novice forum pruned about 90 days work. The 'good' old stuff is going to be put into appropriate forums.

distilling using a Water Distiller?

Post by ewillustration »

I was thinking about distilling using a Water Distiller will that work?

Here is my stupid question: how does the distiller distill the bad alcohol first and bad alcohol last, I mean how does that happen? Wouldn't the bad alcohol just mingle with the good alcohol?

Also I suppose you would have to keep your eye on the distiller because you dont want to be distilling into a large container and let the last last 50 milliliters of bad alcohol go into your good alcohol, correct?

Also should you do anything with the mash before pouring it into the distiller, I mean should I discard the top portion and the stuff on the bottom?

PS: I wish some one would make a good step by step video on u tube.

Wait for it........

Use the static menu on the parent site, read it at least twice, then come back with some meaningfull questions. We will be more than happy to answer informed ones.

Yeah, most of us have already watched that one... I hate it when science geeks think they are experts simply because they've tried something once... Most of those videos bore me to tears... Especially videos by wannabe survivalists who don't know shit but love seeing themselves in front of a camera...

good thing they have the random circuit schematic for their background... complete with random strings of binary , pulse transformers, and COIL UNITS

all very pertinent information... the secret to my top shelf is my coil units
