neutral run

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.

neutral run

Post by steve541 »

I finaly got the time to run my reflux still. I'm happy with the results so far I ended up short on my final amount but stayed at 90% to 92% so for my first I think it went well. Thanks for all the help here !

Right on Brother! Is it drinkable or are you gonna have to filter? I had to redistill my first batch, (No charcoal).
What cha gonna do next? Corn, try Uncle Jessies Sour Mash (UJSM) for an easy corn liquor.

I went to my LHBS and got the little bottle of jeager bitter essence. Their version of it at least So far everyone likes it. I dont like it but I don't like jeager either. Somthing about drinking vicks formula 44D just doesnt do it for me
