Broad Range Temperature Controller
I found this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-BROAD-RANGE- ... 439e124641 and was wondering if it would work for me. I have a 1500w element with a 25l stainless boiler with a valved reflux still. I don't have an electrical background so I'm not sure about these kind of things

Re: Broad Range Temperature Controller
The problem with that controller is that it relies in a thermocoupler/sensor which means it will cycle... We need something like that with separate functions... We need to control heat input and be able to read the vapor temperature... We don't want to control heat input by the numbers... It sounds like an On - Off logic based relay rather than a phase angle/burst fire controller...
