Ive tied a crockpot setup but no luck really old crockpot.
So no not really was thinking of doing beer but for bang for the buck this seems more economical.

If yer lookin for economical, you can achieve it here. A simple pot still will work well and can be done cheap and safely. A reflux is a bit more spendy but again can be done pretty cheap.
That being said, I thought I'd be able to slide into this hobby cheap as well... turns out I like buidin sh*t. This hobby can be as expensive as you could imagine.

I love to build and have a feeling if I start this I'll be hooked big time.
My last project was a aquaponics system I attached to my pond I built 5 years ago, slow start but seems to be working , we will see.
Only copper work Ive done was for plumbing, this opens up to a hole new level LOL.
