Almost finished with my pot build
I'm about 90% complete or at least that's what I think. Feel free to voice your opinion because all this is new to me and I dang sure don't want to hurt myself. the thumper in the picture is to small or at least I think it is I've all ready got another one it's just like the one in the pic but double the size.Every thing is 316L Stainless except the thumper and its glass, I wanted the thumper glass so I could watch the process run.

Looks like you have solid building skills, nice job.
A couple of things I see. That glass thumped should go, that thing's going to be loaded with high proof booze if it breaks your going to have a problem. I think you got the idea of a glass jar from the parent site, there are some thing there that a lot of us don't agree with. Build your thumped from stainless and build it bigger then the jar your currently using, by the looks of it that won't be a problem for you. Also get some copper in the system.
Nice looking rig.

Thanks Rubber duck that's the kind of info I need I was kinda concerned with glass at first but I talked myself into I know better trust me. I can build one out of stainless no problem. two questions for you or any one that help me out.
1. How much does the thumper need to hold I can run 3gal of wash max?
2. I can change out one of the overhead lines to copper pretty easy witch one would be better after the cooker or before the condenser or is that enough copper?

I would go 1 gallon on the thumper. As for the line it doesn't matter which line is replaced. I think one line should be enough copper but I'm not sure.

Agree with the thumper information already provided... No glass and make it larger... If it's too small you might as well do without...
Nice looking work there, just the same...
