When in doubt, sit and ponder…

Post by TipsyPig »

Born and raised somewhere in the southern Appalachian Mountains my love for home brew began while helping my pap. Many fond memories are all that’s left of those days long ago. Since then I have just retired from the MIL. Branch doesn’t matter, but I will say that in my travels I have had many a fine home runs from folks around the world. Now this hobby is a rekindle for me of older time. Plus my wife says I spend too much time fishing and would like me to be home more often. I can see no better way to spend time at the house and be with my wife. OK. the drinking helps! Loll… In the past I have run Pot stills but I think I will be trying a reflux. This will give me a chance to tinker and even though it’s not brass, I can still have something to polish. So in short. HI.

Thanks bd. it's good to be home. I'm ready to be schooled a little more, and I'm sure i'll have some questions as I go along. I have spent the day appropriating my kegs and copper, already have the fermenter and all. Now it is just a matter of finding the right column that will do for me.
